Extreme Pens fan.....in 1952 it only took eight games to win the Cup....and octopus has eight legs so a guy from a local fish market brought one to a game and threw it on the ice for good luck. It became a tradition. If you boil them first, they aren't so slimy, lol.

Zetty....saw your interview with the Fox Sports Detroit guy (his name escapes me) during the Ducks game....glad you did not play, you probably aren't 100%. Don't know why but I was surprised that you and Cleary had suits on...it looks nice but why do players have to dress up even when they're not playing? I think that's cruel. It's bad enough you're injured, why do they create additional torture by making you wear a suit? I don't get it. Anyhoo, get well....we love you Z !

"Extreme" Pens fan...if you knew the history of hockey, you'd know what the octopus means. It says a lot that you don't. And face it, you love Z and the Wings...otherwise, you wouldn't bother posting here. Naive Pens fans think winning is everything. It is not. The team itself is everything, win or lose. Maybe you'll learn that some day.

Umm... Why are there so many pens fans on a site for a Red Wings player? Just wondering, i've been a wings fan for over 20 years and have never wandered onto another teams site to talk trash. Maybe it's because i just love my team and the players, and feel no need to assert myself as a naive fool who obviously jumped onto a winning teams wagon. So pens fans, please realize that all you're accomplishing by this banter is showing us both of your brain cells.... and i'm not impressed by either of them.
