DETROIT - Marian Hossa scored his second goal of the game with 2 minutes left to help the Red Wings beat the Columbus Blue Jackets 5-3 on Friday night.
Henrik Zetterberg had a goal and assist, Jiri Hudler and Kris Draper also scored, Pavel Datsyuk added two assists, and Chris Osgood made 13 saves.
Fedor Tyutin scored twice for Columbus, Jakub Voracek added a goal, and Pascal Leclaire stopped 30 shots.
Hossa's shot from the bottom of the left circle tricked through Leclaire for the winner. Datsyuk got the puck to Hossa after winning a faceoff.
Draper added an empty-net, short-handed goals with 6 seconds left.
Tyutin tied it 1:17 into the third period with his second goal of the game and third of the season. He beat Osgood cleanly with a slap shot from the center red line.
Hossa's goal with 25 seconds left in the second period gave the Red Wings a 3-2 lead. He beat Leclaire with a one-time slap shot for his 12th goal.
Tyutin's first goal, with 2:32 left in the middle period, tied it at 2. His wrist shot from the left point eluded Osgood.
Hudler's power-play goal 8:43 into the second period gave Detroit a 2-1 lead. Hudler jammed a shot in off a goal-mouth scramble for his eighth goal.
Voracek opened the scoring with 6 minutes left in the first period with his fourth goal as he put in the rebound of R.J. Umberger's shot.
Zetterberg's power-play goal with 2:54 remaining in the opening period tied it. He beat Leclaire from the right circle for his 11th goal.
